On November 16, the RIVEAL project organized its final seminar. This meeting took place at the Instituto Superior de Agronomia, Universidade de Lisboa (ISA-ULisboa), and aimed to present the achieved results of the project throughout the four years of research work and knowledge transfer.
The seminar was organized by the leading team partner ISA-ULisboa/CEF, with the illustrious presence of Professor José Miguel Cardoso Pereira, coordinator of the Centro de Estudos Florestais (CEF), Universidade de Lisboa, and Professor Teresa Ferreira, President of the ISA Scientific Council and co-PI of the Project. It was participated by the project partners ICS- ULisboa, Institute of Social Sciences, Universidade de Coimbra/MARE, Universidade de Aveiro/Geobiotec, and by an audience of approximately 20 people.
The seminar featured seven talks resuming the carried-out activities and presenting the results regarding the effects of river regulation and climate change scenarios on fluvial and riparian communities, and the ecosystem services. Know more about the seminar here.
