O projeto RIVEAL organizou uma Sessão Especial intitulada “River vegetation, the challenges of management and conservation and their values and ecosystem services” no 63º Simpósio da Associação Internacional para a Ciência da Vegetação, que decorreu entre 20 e 23 de setembro de 2021. Este é um encontro mundial de cientistas e outros interessados em estudos teóricos e práticos sobre vegetação, cujos principais objetivos são proporcionar o contacto pessoal entre cientistas de vegetação de todo o mundo, e promover a investigação em todos os aspetos da ciência da vegetação e suas aplicações.rd International Association of Vegetation Science Symposium, that took place from the 20th till the 23rd of September 2021. This is a worldwide union of scientists and others interested in theoretical and practical studies of vegetation, which main goals are to facilitate personal contacts among vegetation scientists all over the world and to promote research in all aspects of vegetation science and its applications.
